Wii Gaming Console: Shopping Channel

Recently, I had to help my brother access Nintendo's Wii Shopping Channel. It was a bit frustrating at first because I expected the Wii to automatically detect a nearby access point. Then when I finally got it to go online we couldn't get beyond a certain point. We could perform system updates, but we couldn't shop for virtual games. Within the next few days I will post an article to www.novelimage.net about the steps that I took to get the Wii to recognize my Linksys wireless router access point.

Video to Supplement Written Content

I have recently opened an account with www.youtube.com to upload instructional videos that might be helpful for people wishing to learn more about computer hardware and software. Whenever I post an article on www.novelimage.net and feel that their is a need to complement the written article with video content, then I will post a link below the article where users may watch a video presentation of the subject material. If I find that it is more productive to embed a video on a web page then I will do that as well. With this approach I hope that a lot of people will learn as they watch and listen, rather than simply attempting to decipher someone else's written instructions.

So stay tuned because novelimage.net instructional videos are coming to you soon.

Software Deployment in a Large Organization

In a large organization it is not feasible to go around and install software applications on multiple computers. You need to find a more efficient manner of applying configuration settings and distributing software to your users. We will soon evaluate different tools that can be used to customize windows installer packages.

Anime

I enjoy watching Japanese Anime so much that I thought I should write a few articles about the subject. My all time favorites include The 12 Kingdoms, Naruto, Full Metal Panic, and Gun Grave.

Soon I will publish a more detailed list with more of my favorites and some links to various sources where you can acquire more information about them.

Windows Vista

Well Windows Vista Enterprise was recently released to some large organizations by Microsoft. For the past few days, I have had the opportunity to play with it. Although, the user interface is slightly different than Windows XP Professional you can still pretty much get around by using the same keyboard shortcuts and/or typing the short names of your favorite programs in the Run... field. The search box is a nice feature of the new OS. Thus far, the results have been pretty impressive.
